It actually allows you to cruise on the water, classically, but the catamaran’s central nacelle can be submerged up to a depth of 2 meters, allowing you to discover the seabed... Once under the water, breathing is taken care of thanks to an electric air compressor integrated into the floats. The Platypus is propelled by two outboard motors, which can be either gasoline or electric, and it can of course be dismantled and transported on a trailer, and would make a great dinghy for a big catamaran... A 5.72m long and 2.50 wide catamaran, which can cruise at 10 knots on the surface and 3 knots under the water, designed by the VPLP office.
