Always at the cutting edge of research, the Gitana Team didn’t hesitate to choose a radical option for the last Route du Rhum, by equipping its Mod 70 with T-shaped rudders, which allowed Sébastien Josse to win a nice 3rd place, faced with much bigger competitors. Since then, the trimaran has been equipped with asymmetric foils and new rudders, and the Multi 70 Edmond de Rothschild has become a real floating, and even flying, laboratory.
