Well Jimmy has done it again – he has just launched two new rallies: Blue Planet and Atlantic Odyssey.
The Blue Planet Odyssey is aimed at those among you who dream of sailing round the world. Each participant is free to leave from their own continent (the rally’s departure ports are situated on each continent) and join the rally at the stopover of their choice. The rally will sail west around the world by the traditional trade wind route, via the Panama Canal and the Torres Straits, and will stop in some of the most threatened islands in each ocean, which are also amongst the most beautiful: the Tuvalus, Tokelau, the Tuamotus, the San Blas, the Maldives, Micronesia; the Kiribatis, the Marshalls and the Andamans...
Departure planned from London, on 20th July 2014.
And for those who can’t leave to sail round the world, Jimmy is launching the Atlantic Odyssey, a transatlantic rally which more closely resembles a gathering of enthusiastic sailors. The registration fee is symbolic (500 euros) and even free of charge for families with children under 16... Departure from Lanzarote on 17th November 2013 for Martinique, and from La Palma on 12th January 2014, destination Grenada.
