Saba 50, the new Fountaine Pajot catamaran
Once again, the secret was well kept, and we had to wait for the official press conference to discover Fountaine Pajot’s new 50-footer.
The replacement for the Salina 48 is completely in line with the Sanya and the Helia: a modern, light spacious boat, offering everything a hedonistic crew could expect from a current big cruising catamaran. The Saba 50 (all the builders catamaran’s are named after islands) is equipped with the now traditional Lounge Deck, designed and studied from the start of the concept to integrate as well as possible into the boat’s (rather successful) lines. The catamaran is also equipped with a genuine lounge-sunbathing area forward, and the builder will be offering a Maestro and a Quintet version (5 double cabins + 1 crew cabin).
The first Saba 50 should be in the water this spring, for a first presentation to the public at the autumn boat shows.
