International Multihull Boat Show: a successful 6th edition!
In the middle of April, all the enthusiasts and professionals in the known multihull world met up in La Grande Motte for the now traditional, famous and above all much-awaited International Multihull Boat Show.
Even though certain multihulls which had been announced were absent (and those who are absent are always in the wrong), the new boats caused a sensation. The Leopard 40, the Bali 4.3, the Comet Cat 37 from Comar, the Slyder 49 and the Garcia SC48, as well as the motor catamarans - Lagoon 40 MY, Fountaine Pajot MY37 and Leopard 51 PC – and the trimarans - Dragonfly 25 and Radikal T26 – delighted the numerous knowledgeable visitors with their presentation to the public for the first time in the world or in Europe. But with over fifty catamarans and trimarans on show, the public was also able to see almost the full range from each of the main multihull builders, and even try out certain boats, which were available for sea tests.
A show which is having a greater and greater impact throughout the world, with visitors coming from Australia, the USA, Central or South America, all over Europe, and even Asia. And the show was also the opportunity for Multihulls World to celebrate – in a dignified manner – its thirtieth anniversary! Thanks to all those of you who dropped by the magazine’s stand to wish us a happy anniversary. We really appreciated it!
