Three new Seawind catamarans
Seawind has been building catamarans now for over thirty years.
The Australian builder is continuing its development, and after having bought out the trimaran builder Corsair and set up a factory in Vietnam, it has just announced no fewer than three new catamarans for 2016.
The Seawind 1190 Sport catamaran is currently under construction and the n°1 hull should be sailing next June. Developed on the basis of the renowned 1160, the Seawind 1190 Sport catamaran is wider and lighter, and has been developed for ocean navigation. It is equipped with a top of the range suit of sails and new daggerboards to improve its performance even more.
The Seawind 1260 catamaran is a brand new blue-water cruising catamaran. It will be offered with the traditional galley “down”, or with a new arrangement, with the galley in the saloon, to meet the demands from the charter companies and the European market.
Finally, the Seawind 1600 catamaran will be the biggest boat in the range. This 52-foot catamaran is a genuine ocean cruiser, offering all the comfort required by demanding owners sailing round the world.
