Little Cup: Cammas unbeatable

The Little Cup is a real international championship for C-Class catamarans, whose reigning champion was none other than Franck Cammas.

Raced on catamarans 7.62m long and 4.26 wide whose sail area cannot exceed 27.8m², the Little Cup rule appears simple, but obliges the engineers to rack their brains to create the ultimate machine...
And it seems that the ultimate machine belongs to Franck Cammas and Louis Viat: they left their competitors almost no chance.
In the final, faced with the Swiss challenger, Axon Racing, they won both legs. It must be said that Groupama C flies on its foils from 5.5 knots of wind, and is capable of sailing at three times the wind speed...
