Nacra 17 Worlds
The cream of Olympic multihull racing met up in Clearwater, Florida, for the Nacra 17 Worlds.
A meeting which allowed many countries to see things more clearly in their race to qualify for the Rio Olympics.
At the finish, the French pair, Billy Besson and Marie Riou won, with such a big lead at this level that they could have not taken part in the final leg. The French crew thus won the Nacra 17 World Championship for the fourth time, making them the favourites for the coming Olympics. The podium was completed by the Danes Allan Norregaardet Annette Viborg Andreasen and the Italians, Vittorio Bissaro and Silvia Sicouri.
