REVIEWS NAUTITECH 475
Between 1996 and 2000, 45 Nautitech 475 catamarans and a good many 435s were built in the Dufour plant in La Rochelle-Périgny, all designed by Mortain & Mavrikios. This successful range of boats is less well known than other flagship productions; this lack of visibility is likely due both to problems encountered by the builder, but also to its marketing positioning oriented exclusively to rental and chartering. Today these boats are now on the used-boat market and conveying a Nautitech 475 catamaran from Toulon to the Boat Show in Nice provided an opportunity for a tough test.
Our test Nautitech 475 catamaran
The technical items, motor blocks, battery sets and VDO Logic electric panels are all worthy of praise and the Raytheon unit functions perfectly.
The Zspar Red Label mast with a double row of diamond spreaders and jumper stay is virtually new and the set of sails could be considered to have aged 25%. The interior features are in nearly new condition and I would like to congratulate all the crews that sailed this catamaran.
