The ‘Atlantique 2011' project is taking shape... 

This is the dream of four young women who want to cross the Atlantic aboard Etoile Filante, a 60-foot catamaran. The challenge is interesting, because the crew is essentially made up of school teachers, who are mostly sailing novices. In addition, one of them, a sailing instructor, has a motor disability, which thus makes the sense of mutual assistance and cohesion amongst the crew members predominant. But beyond the human aspect, as the project involves school teachers, it will also allow schoolchildren to follow this adventure and the experiments set up with the Ifremer, live from the boat...
