‘Voiles de Saint Barth’

Numerous (and superb) boats, top-level crews and a unique atmosphere, as only the famous Caribbean island can provide, may explain the success of this event. But this year, the multihulls also provided a spectacle, even though there were only nine of our favourite boats at the start. Although once again the 60-foot trimaran Paradox attracted all the attention (it was ‘flashed’ at 30 knots on the last day of racing), it was Calle Hennix’s Seacart 26 which realized an almost clean sweep, with three firsts and a second in the 4 legs raced... Hard to do better. It beat the Gunboat ‘Elvis’ and the incredible Toro 34, which pulled out all the stops. Moreover you will very soon be able to read the full story of our Canadian friends’ adventure in the Toro 34, in Multihulls World.
