The 520 competitors in the 78th edition of the Bol d’Or experienced varied, even fickle conditions, with a moderate breeze to begin with, which dropped as the race progressed. As a result, it took the D35 catamaran Ladycat more than 8h 30m to cover the 123 km of the course. It was the third victory for Dona Bertarelli’s boat (after 2010 and 2014), but this time the skipper left her place at the helm to Xavier Revil. Behind the winner, we found Alinghi and Mobimo.

After these wins in the Geneva-Rolle-Geneva and two D35 Grand Prix, Ladycat dominates the Trophy for the moment, ahead of Alinghi and Team Tilt.
