The Transat: the return

The Transat is rising from the ashes and re-embarking on the emblematic route of the first edition between Plymouth and New York. Organized for the first time in 1960, the 2,800-mile race to windward in the North Atlantic promises already to be THE ocean racing event in 2016.
The record for the race is still held by Michel Desjoyeaux aboard the Orma 60 Géant, in 8 days, 8 hours. But as The Transat is now open to the Ultim class, we would like to bet that the record will be broken. See you for the start on 2nd May 2016!
