After the Rackam Wing, the architect Erik Lerouge has just presented a new catamaran in the same vein, but with ‘an extra meter’. On the program, a nacelle which is just as aerodynamic, to limit windage and offer good performance, while allowing access to comfort worthy of a real 9-meter cruiser. The architect also wanted the Vik 90 catamaran to remain capable of being dismantled, even though here we are not talking about trailing it behind a vehicle, but allowing easier storage or delivery to the other side of the world.
Aboard, we find a double berth in each hull and a heads. The nacelle houses the saloon, which can be used as a watchkeeper’s berth, a galley and a chart table.
The n°1 in the series is leaving for the West Indies. It will be equipped with two deep, carbon daggerboards, but a version with keels is possible.
