. Thanks to its careful assembly of three layers of fabric, it remains light and breathable while offering incredible windproofness and waterproofness. The hood is attached to the jacket with a high-quality zipper (it can also be kept rolled up in the knitted fleece collar). The salopettes - like the jacket - are inspired by MPX Race technology; they rise high up in the back, but with their elastane shoulder straps and panels, they remain comfortable and close to the body even during effort. Jacket and pants are reinforced (elbows, seat, knees) for good abrasion resistance compatible with the expected flexibility. We tried this set during a full day of sailing in late October aboard a Diam 24 provided by Vianney Ancelin as part of the Easy Regatta program. The 18 to 24 knots of wind resulted in maximum exposure to the conditions. Completed by a light under layer, an Evo Pro Lite polo shirt, a pair of boots and a cap, sailing comfort was perfect. The conditions of this product test took this garment a little beyond the manufacturer's specifications while maintaining a real margin of safety and comfort. Musto indeed recommends this suit for use on spring-summer sports boats. We’re happy to confirm this prescription, but for the non-competitive user, it will be perfectly suitable for more severe conditions (with the 3-layer underwear system). Extremely light, the set dries with a few appropriate shakes and fits in a small carry-bag, making it quite suitable for use on charter multihulls. We love it!

Retail price: €275.99 for the jacket and €258.99 for the salopettes.
