Delete your Multihulls World account

This page explains how to delete your account and the associated data. It applies to the Multihulls World app (iOS and Android) and to the websites www.multihulls-world.com and www.multicoques-mag.com, published by BlueWaterSky, SAS, 17 rue de l'Hôtel des Postes, 06000 Nice, France. You have a single account for the app and both websites: deleting it removes it everywhere.

How to delete your account

In the app

1. Open the Multihulls World app and sign in.
2. Go to My account.
3. Tap Delete my account, then confirm.

On the website

1. Sign in at www.multihulls-world.com or www.multicoques-mag.com.
2. Go to My account.
3. Click Delete my account, then confirm. 

By email or post

You can also email us at admin@multihulls-world.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject line "Account deletion". Or write to BlueWaterSky, Reader Services, 17 rue de l'Hôtel des Postes, 06000 Nice, France. We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing your request.

If you only want to delete some of your data, such as your phone number, your addresses or your answers to the optional "Get to know you" questionnaire, without closing your account, edit them in My account or email us at the same address.

What happens next

Data we delete. Your name, email address, password, postal addresses, phone numbers, answers to the "Get to know you" questionnaire, reading history and the list of issues and boat tests you own are permanently erased. You are also unsubscribed from the newsletter.

Data we keep. Some data must be kept to comply with the law: invoices and accounting records for your purchases are kept for 10 years, as required by the French Commercial Code, and then deleted. They are not used for any other purpose.

Timing. Deletion from the app or the website is immediate. Requests by email or post are processed within one month at most.

Before you delete your account, please note that:

• you will lose access to your current subscription, with no refund for the remaining period;
• you will lose access to the PDFs and boat tests you acquired with the Standard and Print plans;
• an ongoing Print subscription will no longer be delivered;
• if you subscribed through the previous app, via Apple or Google, you must also cancel that subscription in your Apple or Google Play account settings: deleting your account does not stop it.
