Cyclops Marine Ltd have produced a new load sensor that is particularly well suited to multihulls.
Smarttune, the first product in the British equipment manufacturer's Smart range, offers America's Cup technology to ordinary sailors: it measures in real time with the greatest precision the tension of the rigging and transmits the information to smartphones and/or on-board instruments. The best way to check forestay deflection and mast rake according to conditions - and of course to reproduce validated settings. The installation of the Smarttune is very simple, as they simply replace your existing rigging screws.
