Well now you can, thanks to the Sungood ® 360, a compact, collapsible solar cooker that heats, cooks and steams all kinds of recipes - meat, fish, bread, vegetables...
The appliance is equipped with two complementary cooking modes: the Suntube, which delivers (even on cloudy days) cooking temperatures from 350 to 460°F (180 to 240°C), and the Cook UP pot, which enables gentle, unattended cooking from 210 to 250°F (100°C to 120°C) to preserve nutrients. The cooker uses the principle of concentrated solar energy: the sun's rays are reflected by mirrors and concentrated on the sensor for optimum temperature rise. The only caveat: it’ll work great for lunch, but not a late dinner...
