On board, more than 300 people (captains, cooks and deckhands) made sure the boats were presented in their best light to professionals from the luxury charter sector; to start with, they had to make the Saharan sand deposits disappear until the day before the show opened, showcasing the toys on board and, of course, taking part in the great cooking competition. In the charming and festive atmosphere of Poros harbor, the organizers didn’t skimp on the nightly festivities - proof that taking part in a B-to-B show doesn’t mean you can’t have fun...

While Lagoon was by far the most represented, with 36 models, the Lagoon 52 (7) and 620 (5) were the most numerous, while Fountaine Pajot featured more recent catamarans (17 in all). The Alegria 67 was the most represented multihull at the show, with 8 models on display. On the other hand, the announced Thira 80 didn’t make it to the show.

Some forty exhibitors were on hand to welcome the 300 brokers from all over the world. The absence of Greece’s leading charter company, Istion, was regrettable - this company is itself involved in a similar event.

Numerous builders also attended, to observe the modifications made to their models and check on the ageing of the various on-board components and equipment - invaluable observations for improving - and designing - the multihulls of tomorrow.
