Boomerang - Carefree in Marie-Galante!

We have spent ten years preparing, organizing and dreaming about this great big family project! We’re now entering our seventh month aboard our faithful steed Boomerang 2, a Brazapi 410 designed by Erik Lerouge. After departing in August 2019 from France’s Gulf of Morbihan, we headed for Galicia, in Spain, the Algarve (Portugal), and then Morocco, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde, before crossing the Atlantic in early December. Our objective was to spend our first Christmas under the coconut palms. The children are of course over the moon. Since the beginning of January, we have been crisscrossing the Caribbean chain from the Grenadines to Guadeloupe, discovering with astonishment the often sea-related history of all of these singular islands (with our friend Gilles Belmonte* coming along for the ride). Each island offers a new discovery, unique landscapes and nature - not to mention extraordinary encounters. I would like to share with you our sublime mooring in Canoe Cove, in MarieGalante. This is the kind of place that reinforces our choice of living on the water, and to enjoy the best of what life has to offer. The hardest part? Taking the decision. The rest is just happiness... with a few little problems to deal with along the way. *Gilles Belmonte is the hero of a romantic trilogy written by Fabien Claw.
