The Baltic Junior is designed for young crew members weighing 44 to 110 lb (20 to 50 kg), and its shoulder and waist straps are easily adjustable to ensure a close fit. A retroreflective strip on one shoulder improves visibility.
The hardware is designed for serious use: the buckles are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and a strong D-ring provides an attachment point for the safety tether. The Junior is also approved in accordance with the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations (OSR). This allows young crew members to enjoy the generous spaces of a multihull without giving them complete freedom of movement when conditions become more challenging!
