The editorial team from Multihulls World met up with B&G Product Director Matt Eeles at the Cannes Yachting Festival to discover the two new additions to the Zeus range: the Zeus SR and the Zeus S UltraWide, designed to improve readability and ergonomics aboard sailing multihulls.
The Zeus SR, available in 10, 12, and 16-inch versions, is impressive, with its compact size not compromising on performance. Its SolarMAX™ IPS screen remains perfectly readable even with polarizing sunglasses, and a new-generation processor ensures smooth navigation between charts and data. Thanks to its small footprint, it can be easily installed on a secondary station or in a cramped cockpit, either as original equipment or as part of a refit.
The Zeus S UltraWide, available in 12 and 15-inch versions, focuses on panoramic visibility. The 12-inch model allows multiple features to be displayed simultaneously on a single screen, which is invaluable for keeping an eye on the essentials without juggling between pages. Available in an extra-flush version, it integrates perfectly in both original equipment and refit installations. The 15-inch model, which is even more spacious, offers an ideal overview for offshore navigation. For Matt, the manufacturer’s goal is clear: “With the new Zeus SR and UltraWide display, we’re seeking to offer boaters perfect readability and intuitive interfaces tailored to the needs of sailing multihulls.” These two new products embody B&G’s commitment to offering navigation instruments that are easy to install, high-performance, and designed for the specific demands of multihull sailing.
