Three years after the launch of the M8, Prestige Yachts presented the M8 EVO in Monfalcone, Italy, a thoroughly optimized version of its flagship powercat. The changes are the direct result of feedback from owners cruising on oceans and seas around the world.
On the exterior, the yacht features a more elegant profile thanks to new hull glazing, a redesigned black hull band, and a completely reworked hardtop. On board, the flybridge now extends across the yacht’s full beam, while the removal of the interior staircase and the reconfiguration of the living spaces improve circulation throughout the vessel. The enlarged galley, much larger dining area, and redesigned owner’s suite further enhance comfort. The berth returns to a more conventional fore-and-aft arrangement, while a double walk-in wardrobe and a significantly larger shower have been added.
The builder has adopted more powerful MAN engines while also offering the Silent Mode package, which combines optimized energy management and solar panels to extend time at anchor in near-total silence. The Prestige M8 EVO will make its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival. It will not be alone, however, as the new M6, which replaces the M48, has also been announced.
