Among the 40 multihulls on display at the “Occasions du Multicoque et de Refit” second-hand show, we’ve selected eight models to present to you on video. From the least expensive to the most expensive, we invite you to discover the world of used multihulls! Today, we discover a 2021 Nautitech 46 Open.
Launched in 2016, the Nautitech 46 Open is based on the same principle as the 40 Open: a nacelle connected to the cockpit and twin helm stations. This catamaran, which is aimed more at private owners than charterers, is well built. The 46 is an excellent compromise between performance and comfort, even though the forecabins might be considered a little narrow. This model was replaced by the Nautitech 44 and 48 and has become very popular with those planning to set off blue water cruising. The 46 was also available in a flybridge version, which meant losing 70 square feet (6.5 m²) of mainsail area and gaining extra 900 lbs (400 kg)... Nautitech then restyled its model.
The model we are looking at is in very good condition, with immaculate light woodwork. This 46 has a gennaker and two 60 HP Volvos with only 930 engine hours.
