2025 Multihull Of the Year Election

All the Results from the 8th Edition!

The awards most eagerly awaited by multihull enthusiasts were held on the first evening of the International Multihull Show – the top in-water show for builders of two- and three-hulled boats.

The unmissable Multihull of the Year contest, organized by Multihulls World, took place a La Grande-Motte on April 23rd. During the party sponsored by our partners Sevenstar Yacht Transport at the great multihull get-together that six of the nominees became winners. More than 200 exhibitors attended the event in the VIP tent. The event, presented by our CEO Gwen Dorning and Director of Publications Emmanuel van Deth, was the opportunity to hand over the WINNER 2025 banners and stickers to the shipyards: most of whom were present as exhibitors, with the exception of Sunreef Yachts, who were still represented.
The next morning, the winning multihulls being exhibited at the show were quick to get their banners on display!

Let’s note that the MOTY is a unique election in two ways: it is a competition exclusively for multihulls (sail and power) from all over the world, and above all it is you, readers, sailors, racers and especially users of the nominated multihulls, who choose the winners in the first four categories.

Our website MultihullOfTheYear.com, saw no less than 12,000 votes casted.
For this 2025 edition, we decided, in consultation with the Fédération des Industries Nautiques (France’s marine industries federation), to continue the prize for the International Multihull Show Premiere, established in 2024. The sixth MOTY was organized by Capt’n Boat: the platform invited their skippers to vote for their favorite pre-owned multihull.

On the back of the success of this year’s event, we are already looking at the 2026 edition, and we would like to thank all our loyal partners - some of whom have been supporting us since the first edition, so thank you and well done to them!
