40 years of experience and 4000 boats built, no one of which has sunk, that is quite a reference when it comes to cruising catamarans. Even if the design isn't to everyones' taste! "Our boats are above all practical and seakindly", I was told at the Grand Pavois boat show at La Rochelle, by Remko Van Russen, the "sailing salesman" of Prout Catamarans who is wandering the coast from the Channel to the Atlantic at the helm of the Escale 39, the most recent addition to the range. It is a model which has given way slightly to commercial pressure, with more style and comfort than its predecessors.
