Presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the tool allows potential buyers to move virtually around the boat and, above all, immediately visualize the effect of their choices.
Accessible directly from a web browser, the configurator allows users to modify layouts, colors, finishes, equipment and specifications. More spectacularly, the multihull is displayed in a dynamic marine environment: daylight, sunset and nighttime conditions are generated in real time, making it possible to better appreciate the appearance of materials, colors and outdoor spaces under different lighting conditions.
But the benefits are not purely visual. A configuration started with the sales team at a boat show can be saved, reopened and refined later by the client. Studio 3DX, which specializes in 3D configurators and sales platforms for the marine industry, intends its tool to become a genuine digital extension of an onboard visit.
The first multihull to benefit from it is therefore the Veya 53, developed through the collaboration between Fountaine Pajot and Couach and making its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 8 to 13. Visitors will have the opportunity to compare the new model directly with the many different versions they can create on screen.
