Aero 48 electro solaire

The first two Aero 48es will soon take to the water. The first is a real sailing boat, able to take its crew around the world, yet without consuming any fossil fuels. When sailing under the two forward sails (there is no mainsail) this 48 footer will recharge its batteries (thanks to its motors which act as hydrogenerators) in around fifteen hours. A completely autonomous boat. The second Aero 48e is a laboratory boat, which it is hoped will help to further the research. Neither of these boats is currently registered for a show, but the Multihulls World team will definitely aim to give one of them a trial as soon as they are operational.

Aquila 44

After last year's 48, the shipyard will present the brand new Aquila 44 in 2014. Already shown in Miami, it can be seen in Newport, Annapolis and Fort Lauderdale in the US this year. The Aquila 48 will also be on show at the same shows. The shipyard will be present at Cannes as well this year, but will not be taking any boats. The Aquila 44 is a motor catamaran which is comfortable and yet capable of high performance, reaching a top speed of 22 knots.

Alpha 42

The Alpha 42 catamaran was the brainchild of Gregor Tarjan of Aeroyacht, one of the multihull specialists in the US. The n°1 took to the water last year already, and you can finally see it at the Annapolis Boat Show. The yard is in fact launching 3 new boats this summer...

Previewed at the last Paris Boat Show, say hello to the new Astus 24. It ticks all the boxes that trimaran buyers are looking for: transportable, seaworthy, quick AND habitable. The 24 has a large, well-protected cockpit, and also a proper interior salon with a galley corner, a forward cabin, a WC, and huge storage volumes. The perfect boat for cruising or tripping along the coast. You can see it at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle.

Bali 4.5

The new range of Bali catamarans was presented at the last international multihull show. The first model will be on show at the Cannes show in September. It's a 45 footer, designed and built by the Catana group. And for those who can't make it to Cannes, it's worth noting that the n°1 in this series will stay a while in the shipyard for intensive testing. There's talk that eventually the yard will bring along another boat from the range (probably around 40') to the Paris Boat Show. Watch this space...
