A story about shows

From our point of view (and I'm talking about professionals here), the period of the boat shows is always a highlight, requiring long and careful preparation so that we’re all ready on show opening day. Shipyards, salesmen, naval architects, equipment manufacturers, insurers or financiers and of course, journalists, we are thoroughly into it from June onwards, preparing for the "marathon" of trade shows that traditionally starts in August in Sydney, and ends... in April with the best show of all, the International Multihull Show at La Grande Motte in the South France!

The shows from our point of view (and I’m talking about enthusiasts here), are a magical moment, and we’re just like kids on Christmas Day. What will we discover? Will there be new boats that have not been announced (this year again, there will!), and the new ones we know about - are they as beautiful and attractive as their glossy brochures suggest?

So everyone, let's go! Let's meet up again to celebrate the multihull - and boats in general, let's not be sectarian - on the occasion of all these "autumn shows" that continue year after year to make us dream.

In the meantime, enjoy the summer and discover some new anchorages.
