Based in Aubière, in the Auvergne region of France, the company has expanded its catalog to include resins and composite panels, but has remained loyal to teak... while adapting to new regulations, in particular the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), and implementing traceability procedures.

Directeck has recently obtained FSC certification: its future teak supplies will therefore be partly certified as coming from forests managed responsibly according to strict environmental, social, and economic criteria. The company wishes to gradually increase the volume of its certified supplies in order to further embed its activity in a sustainable approach. This is a step forward that contributes to a more transparent timber trade that’s respectful of forest resources.
