From October 1 to 6, the 66th Genoa International Boat Show will bring together more than 1,000 boats, including 215 new models, with exhibitors from 45 countries. Organized by Confindustria Nautica, the Italian show will this year occupy the entire Waterfront di Levante, extensively redesigned according to a project by architect Renzo Piano.

Among the figures announced for the 2026 edition, one particularly caught our attention: the number of multihulls on display is up 28% compared to last year. This increase confirms the growing presence of our favorite boats at major international shows. At the same time, the in-water exhibition area is increasing by 4%, while the average size of the three largest boats in each category is up 14.1%.
Genoa is also strengthening its focus on larger yachts with the new Living Made in Italy area, located on quay H and reserved for yachts over 79 feet (24 m), with models ranging from 115 to 164 feet (35 to 50 m). The show aims to highlight Italian expertise, as well as the links between yacht building, architecture, interior decoration and design.
Innovation and equipment will also have their place. The TechTrade Days, taking place on October 1 and 2, will bring together more than 400 equipment, accessory and component brands. Meanwhile, the FORUM26 program will address artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, new technologies and decarbonization. Finally, the Design Innovation Award will recognize, for the seventh time, the most significant new developments in terms of design, functionality and sustainability.
