The new Gunboat 80 will offer the same performance as the best racing boats and will have no need for its engines when the wind is above 5 knots.
The builder and the architects at VPLP have favored performance thanks to a lightweight construction, even directly inspired by the aeronautical industry. The recipes used are the same as those on the 68, with a forward maneuvering cockpit and an interior helm station - doubled up by two raised helms on the side-decks.
