At the presentation of their Dior Riviera collection in China, the famous French fashion house did not hesitate to invite their VIP clients aboard two Lagoon catamarans (a 450 and a 46) for a few hours’ sailing on the turquoise waters of Sanya, just south of the tropical island of Hainan.
The two craft each sported not only a set of sails in the colors of the collection, obviously inspired by the sea and the sun, but also bedding, numerous decorative elements and even old-school lifebuoys. “This new Dior capsule collection is a reinvention of the House’s style fundamentals in a fluorescent colour palette of blue and orange. This iconic house codes and classic pattern are applied to the yachts’ sails, echoing the dreamlike collection including sandals, ponchos, scarves, and bobs,” explained a Christian Dior representative.
