This new 48'3" (14.7 m) model adopts a trawler philosophy, with modest engine power and moderate speeds: twin 110 hp Yanmar engines deliver a cruising speed of 8 knots and a top speed of 10 knots. With 528 US gal (2,000 l) of fuel, the builder is clearly prioritizing range over outright performance, although no fuel consumption figures have been released. The Chinese shipyard also offers hybrid and fully electric propulsion options, without yet specifying their technical characteristics.
With a beam of 26'4" (8.02 m), the V50 offers generous living spaces. The deck layout is organized around a large aft cockpit, a forward lounge and a flybridge, while the saloon benefits from extensive glazing. Heysea also emphasizes the customization of both interior and exterior layouts. Built in composite, this powercat is CE-certified in Category A for 12 people, making her suitable for a wide variety of cruising programs.
