It must be said that the local expertise is quite simply exceptional, and both builders and sub-contractors try to outdo each other with their skills.

Designed by François Perus and Yacht Design Collective, ITA 14.99 is a catamaran designed to be sailed short or even single-handed. With an unladen displacement of 10.5 tonnes and a generous sail area, it remains nonetheless a fast boat, equipped with daggerboards (1.15/2.30m) and built in carbon vinylester/epoxy.

The first ITA 14.99 is already being built, and will be launched before the end of the year.
