Multihull Cup 2026

Allegra Wins for the Fourth Time

For its tenth anniversary, the Multihull Cup brought together five particularly well-prepared bluewater cruising multihulls at Port Adriano, Mallorca, from September 25 to 27.

After three days and four races under the ORCmh rating system, Adrian Keller’s Irens 84 Allegra claimed victory for the fourth time, a record for the event.

The fleet brought together very different boats ranging from 60 to 84 feet: Allegra, the Morelli & Melvin 65 Gaea, the VPLP Custom 80 Highland Fling XVIII, the Gunboat 72 Layla and the Ocean Explorer 60 Cool Beauty II, competing in its very first regatta.

After an opening 18.5-mile coastal race won by Highland Fling XVIII, Allegra took the advantage on Saturday by winning both windward-leeward races held in the Bay of Palma. On Sunday, the large catamaran secured a third victory after ORCmh correction. Gaea finished second overall, just one point ahead of Highland Fling XVIII.

Beyond the results, this anniversary edition confirms the Multihull Cup’s distinctive purpose: bringing high-performance bluewater cruising multihulls together to race in a deliberately compact format. The next edition is already scheduled to take place at Port Adriano from September 23 to 26, 2027.
