Slyder 54 - Almost 4,000 Wp of solar panels

The initial 3D images reveal hulls with a high freeboard, but whose lines remains dynamic thanks to a marked inverted sheer. The deck remains very high in the cockpit: access to the sugarscoops is via two perpendicular sets of stairs. With construction in carbon/epoxy in infusion, the weight is kept interesting. With a sleek sailplan associated with deep daggerboards (again in carbon/epoxy), the Slyder 54 should present convincing performance. The coachroof and bimini are covered with solar panels capable of sending 3.8 kWp to the 50-kW battery bank. Propulsion is provided by two 30-kW motors.
