Following on from the 36 and 41, motorized weekenders driven by outboard motors, Yot is moving on to more serious business with its 53, as this next model is suitable for semi-offshore cruising and is equipped with inboard engines.
The choice of this size is undoubtedly no coincidence – the Leopard 53 PC and the Aquila 54 have been hugely successful, and the first model announced by the new Veya brand, expected to be seen in February at the Miami International Boat Show, is a 53...
The Yot is relatively narrow (16½ inches / 42 cm less than the Leopard 53 PC) so as not to put off buyers who are new to motorboating and concerned about the cost of a marina slip. More interestingly, the powercat has adopted the up-and-over door that made the Bali famous. In order to make the most of this opening between the cockpit and the saloon, the U-shaped galley has been moved forward.
The shipyard has designed an imposing owner’s cabin forward, which occupies the entire width and offers a king-size bed, a desk, a sofa, a closet, a large bathroom, and separate toilets, and has direct access to the forward cockpit. Two other cabins are available. A four-cabin version is listed in the catalog, but this means losing the luxury of the owner's cabin.
At the stern, there is a giant beach club with opening platforms on each side, retractable sun loungers, modular furniture that can be turned to face either inboard or outboard of the powercat, and a hydraulic platform.
The tender is handled by a telescopic crane. Finally, the flybridge blends harmoniously into the overall silhouette despite its XXL size.
The first Yot 56 is scheduled to splash late 2026.
