The M48, launched four years ago, was the first model in Prestige’s multipower range. After 90 units sold, the builder has upgraded its entry-level powercat with more powerful engines - two 380 hp Volvo D6s replacing the previous 320 hp D4s.

This allows the M6 to easily exceed 20 knots (we recorded 21.5 knots during our test in Beaulieu-sur-Mer), while running at slightly lower rpm at cruising speed. Inside, the U-shaped galley gains a few valuable inches forward thanks to the removal of the starboard sliding door. Forward, the spacious Owner’s cabin offers even more, with a walk-in closet to port and a bench seat opposite, complementing the small desk. Another area that has been upgraded, along with numerous finishing details, is the air-conditioning system, which is both more efficient and quieter.
