Sunreef’s Eco range is more than just a testbed: most of the brand’s models are now available in electric mode, in an attempt to reconcile the demands of high-end yachting (luxury design and comfort) - with more environmentally-friendly boating. In fact, the 3 models from the famous Polish shipyard that are going to be on show at Cannes are all Eco versions!
On the yachting side, there’s really nothing this semi-custom builder hasn’t already sorted, with almost 3,120 square feet (290 m²) dedicated to the pleasure of the guests. Outdoor dining and relaxation areas include a flybridge with breathtaking views, a vast terrasse forward and a large aft cockpit merging with the main deck’s panoramic saloon. The layout and decoration are entirely customizable... As for eco-responsibility, it’s more surprising with an innovative - and in-house - solar energy system: the solar panels are in fact fully integrated into the 70’s hulls, superstructure, mast and boom, covering a total surface area of 1,540 square feet (143 m²). In addition to these particularly light solar panels, which are nonetheless capable of producing up to 35.5 kWp, the 70 Eco is fitted with a particularly powerful battery bank (5.2 kg/kWh).
