It must be said that the young Turkish shipyard VisionF Yachts had got us rather accustomed to large, quiet powercats (even if the Barbie pink livery of a recent 82 was pretty eye-catching a couple years ago in Cannes), and a Forever Green approach with the choice, for some models, of aluminum hulls and hybrid propulsion. It’s no exaggeration to say that the VisionF Superfast 46 stands out completely from the manufacturer’s catalog: the powercat we’re about to discover this year in the Vieux Port, is sure to create a buzz!

This all-carbon craft is capable of reaching no less than 80 knots and maintaining this crazy speed for two hours. As an option, the hydraulic steering is coupled with joystick controls to optimize maneuverability at high speeds. So, should we go for a test sail?
