The success of the Paris Nautic Show, launched last November, seems to be (finally) a positive sign for indoor boat shows, which have been struggling since the Covid crisis. While some events have not survived this difficult period, boot Düsseldorf managed a few days ago to maintain its status as the world's largest indoor boat show – many exhibitors have chosen to return.
It's understandable that manufacturers are hesitant given the logistical – and financial – challenge of transporting large monohulls; While sailboats are still relatively few in number, powercat builders are returning to the show or attending for the first time, such as Aquila, Dracan, Lasai, Millikan, Prestige, and Yot. In-water boat shows continue to be popular: Annapolis, Cannes, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Sanctuary Cove are all packed with exhibitors and visitors. Special mention, of course, goes to La Grande-Motte: currently, the International Multihull Show is the only 100% multihull show. We're also seeing the launch of a new event dedicated to sustainable boating: Nice Boating Tomorrow will open its doors for the first time next March.
As for the Multihulls World team, with our presence on both sides of the Atlantic, in Australia and South Africa, we make sure to attend as many events as possible! Would you like to meet us? Trade shows bearing the Multihulls World logo are where we will be present.
