From Tennessee, Debbie tells us about the charm of sailing on inland waterways. “My husband, Steve, and I are the proud owners of an Endeavour 48 Power Cat called Gypsies Palace. We have been sailing and living full time on a powercat for the past 5 years and we are huge fans of this type of boat. We first sailed the Great Loop on a Leopard 47. So we are officially «Gold Loopers»! Last year we cruised the Inland Rivers and enjoyed a beautiful summer. The postcard photo we are sending you was taken on the Tennessee River. But we also traveled the Cumberland and Little Tennessee Rivers. This year we plan to sail the Chesapeake River to Florida, including the St Johns River through Jacksonville, Orlando... Next spring, 2022, we plan to spend three months in the Bahamas. But our next big cruise will be the Downeast Circle Loop, which will take us all the way to Montreal, via the St. Lawrence River, Nova Scotia and the Maine coast. Jazzy, a miniature Schnauzer, and Mozzy, a Shi-Poo, are a loyal and enthusiastic crew! We also often buddy-boat with One Eye Dog, an Aquila 44, that we first met on the Great Loop 5 years ago!”
