Ptit Filou: the Return...

"Pierre is still in France, so I'm on my own with Lilou who is continuing her schooling on the boat. Alain and Laurence have joined us for two weeks' sailing between Phuket and Langkawi. The Phang Nga stage is still as amazing and majestic as ever, as is the sail down to Ao Nang or the Krabi Islands and the mooring in Leam Nang or Ko Phi Phi with its nightlife. We moored for three days at Ko Muck, sheltering from the strong winds in a creek. It was a wild place, pure nature with its Clown fish and coral gardens. Emerald Cave, which is more authentic because there are less tourists, is just as exceptional, with its underground grotto which leads to a lagoon. Next we headed for Ko Kipe, about fifty nautical miles away. This is a diver's paradise with its turquoise waters, and we finally moored at Telaga on Langkawi. Pierre rejoined us and our friends left having had a wonderful time, and taking some great memories with them. They dream of doing the same as us and we hope that they too will one day set off around the world on a catamaran. We gave Ptit Filou a really good clean up before heading south towards Singapore".
