Lagoon Eighty 2

There’s really no need to introduce Lagoon, given that the brand owned by the Bénéteau Group is quite simply the world leader in blue water cruising multihulls, with some 7,500 catamarans built since 1984. Now, ten years after entering the multiyacht market, Lagoon is refining its product line and services with the launch of the Lagoon Signature brand, which now encompasses the Lagoon 60, the Sixty 5 and Sixty 7, and the new Eighty 2 and its power version, the Eighty 3.
To bring the Eighty project to fruition, the builder has naturally retained the VPLP team of naval architects. In fact, part of the hull molds from the Seventy (a good half of the forward section) has been reused. But the purely technical legacy of the Seventy ends right there: the freeboard is now higher, the stern sections of the hulls have been redesigned, the deck plan is entirely new, and finally, the interior layout has been completely reimagined.
The shipyard didn’t simply create a “bigger” Seventy 7 - the Eighty 2 can be considered 90% new, and its designers conceived it 100% for the luxury (or even super- luxury...
