Austin Parker Unica 58
A Powercat Bearing the Signature of PininfarinaCompetition in the over-50-foot powercat market is becoming increasingly fierce. To make themselves stand out, brands are stepping up their creativity, and that’s exactly what Austin Parker has done by unveiling the Unica 58, a power catamaran with elegant lines and an attractive interior.

Despite having a very British-sounding name, Austin Parker is an Italian shipyard that made a name for itself towards the end of the 1990s by launching a line of cruising yachts inspired by the Downeasters of Maine lobstermen. Since then, the yachts have evolved toward more modern designs, and in 2025, the shipyard produced its first powercat model, the Unica 58. For this project, Austin Parker enlisted the architect with whom the brand has been collaborating for some time, De Simoni Yacht Design. To really get noticed, the yard also had the idea of bringing in a big name in design, specifically automotive design: Pininfarina.
An astonishing blend of talents for a result that is equally astonishing, as the imposing Unica sports a look that’s quite unusual for the cruising powercat category.
Alongside at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the 58 didn’t exactly go unnoticed with its fluid, taut lines, and even though this power multihull sits fairly high in the water, its appearance remains undeniably sporty.
