International Multihull Show

Reserved for catamarans and trimarans, both sail and power!

In the 16 years since its first edition, which was held in Brittany, the International Multihull Show has established itself as the essential meeting place for all those who love sailing on two or three hulls. The event is now firmly anchored at La Grande-Motte in the South of France and remains the only nautical gathering of new boats exclusively reserved for multihulls. The show continues to grow steadily, with each year seeing a 10 to 20% increase in attendance. As for the multihull lineup, it remains perfectly stable when it comes to sailboats (54 models, compared to 53 in 2025) but power multihulls will gain a bit of ground in their dedicated marina with 17 units - up from 15 last year. For this 2026 edition, we can expect no fewer than 20 new models - 9 World Premieres, 1 European Premiere, 1 French Premiere, and 9 IMS Premieres - presented in this article. While the major innovation of the 2025 edition was the creation of a dedicated space for multipowers, this 2026 edition will see a big change in that access will now be exclusively via the town center, while also incorporating the area adjacent to the Harbor Master’s Office. In short, as you can see, if there’s one boat show you simply shouldn’t miss, it’s this one!

TH33: A Compact Day-cruiser

IMS Premiere
MOTY 2026 Nominee
The TH33 presents as a day cruiser so compact that it almost feels like you’re aboard a monohull bow rider. And yet the powercat boasts a respectable freeboard. At the helm station, two large forward-facing seats accommodate the helmsman and a passenger. A T-top is available as an option. Wide access to the central cockpit and bathroom improves traffic flow. An outdoor galley features a sink, refrigerator, and optional electric grill. In total, the deck offers 400 sq ft (37 m²) of usable space. The large storage space can be converted into a mini cabin, which can be accessed by removing the cushions and opening a door, though this could do with being lighter. The heads compartment is cleverly separated.

Afinado: A Thick, Flexible Wingsail to Discover at the IMS

World Premiere
Test in MW SP#22
Forever Green
The Multihulls World community will already be familiar with this unusual rigid-wing
catamaran designed by Philippe Marcovich and Hugues de Turckheim, as we tested it three years ago in Forever Green Special Issue #22. Afinado, as it is called, will be unveiled to the public for the first time at La Grande-Motte. This all-carbon multihull, some 33 feet (10 meters) long and 29 feet (9 meters) in beam - including its ladders for hiking out - weighs barely a ton. With its elegant canoe-shaped bows, it certainly has style, but it’s not its design that should catch your eye… rather, look up a bit to discover a 56-foot (17-meter) carbon mast supporting an astonishing 645-sq-ft (60-m²) flexible, thick wing called the ACCWing (which stands for automatic camber ...
