With its muscular SUV-inspired styling - according to the builder - and twin 600 hp Mercury Verado V12s, the flagship of the Sport range is hardly discreet. Its twin-step hull is claimed to reach more than 50 mph (43.5 knots), but it was at anchor that we were really able to appreciate the clever features of this large dayboat.

Starting with the two hydraulic side terraces: once lowered, they increase the beam from 15' to 19'3" (4.57 to 5.88 m) and transform the cockpit into a genuine beach club. You can dive directly from the platforms or simply place a beanbag there and enjoy the anchorage. Aft, a large electric awning slides out from the hardtop to protect the area from the sun; its rapid deployment also means it can be retracted quickly if the wind picks up.

Forward, there is another clever idea: beneath the large bench seats are nearly 12.4 cu ft (350 l) of watertight storage, complemented by wet lockers dedicated to fenders and equally well suited to drinks or still-dripping swimming gear. The cockpit features two U-shaped bench seats that convert into a vast sunpad, while four seats face a particularly well-connected helm station. Below deck, a cabin with a large bed and private bathroom allows the program to extend beyond simple day boating.

And some good news to finish? We have an appointment in Saint-Raphaël in a few days for a full test.
