Long Island 85 – it’s in the water!
The launch of a giant of the seas is always an important event. JFA has just launched the Long Island 85, designed by the Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group.

The hulls are in aluminum and the superstructure in composites, which results in a weight of 60 tonnes, quite reasonable for an 85-foot catamaran. The interiors – superb, especially the panoramic owner’s cabin situated at the front of the nacelle – are by Darnet Design. The Long Island 85 is now going into the dynamic test phase, before the editorial team from Multihulls World can go and test it…
