Safehaven Marine is a designer and builder of both workboats and custom yachts. Since 1996, the builder has produced more than 150 vessels whose common denominator is incredible robustness and irreproachable seakeeping.
Based in Youghal, Ireland, the shipyard doesn’t hesitate to test its new models at home, off the entrance to Cork Harbour - preferably in heavy weather on a falling tide... This is obviously how the T-2000 Voyager, an all-weather powercat dedicated to exploration and extreme sailing, was treated. To begin with, its performance is particularly breathtaking: over 50 knots of top speed and a record range of 3,000 miles at 9 knots. The T-2000’s hull combines bows that are wave-piercing in their lower section, a traditional slant above, and optional foils, visible through a glass floor. The deck ends 11’6” (3.5 m) from the bow and 3’3” (1 m) from the stern. The beam has been kept to 20’6” (6.25 m).
On board, everything has designed to guarantee real comfort, even in very rough conditions, as evidenced by the interior helm seats that have pneumatic suspension.
